Native One App

Providing students with access to opportunities, communities, experiences, and support through one connected platform, helping them build skills, create meaningful connections, and enhance their overall student experience.

Native One App
About the campaign

Native One is a student-focused digital ecosystem designed to transform the college experience across Wales by connecting students to media, opportunities, communities, and real-world experiences through one unified platform. Built by Native Radio CIC, the app acts as a central hub for student and community life, combining radio, events, sports, talent, and employability into a single accessible system. Native One empowers students in colleges and universities to create content, access opportunities, build skills, and feel part of a connected national student community.

Campaign challenges

Student life in colleges and higher education institutions is increasingly fragmented, with many learners experiencing isolation, limited access to opportunities, and a lack of joined-up support between education, wellbeing, and career pathways. While digital tools exist, they are disconnected, inconsistent, and not designed around real student participation or local community integration.

The key challenges include low student engagement outside the classroom, limited access to creative and media pathways, unequal opportunities across regions, and a lack of a unified platform that connects college students to wider networks across Wales. Native One directly responds to these issues by building a single, inclusive ecosystem that bridges education, community, and industry.
